Our members have done a great job of supporting many Moose charities and lodge functions, not to mention all of the youngsters in the community we have helped. Our participation in helping area community children has served as a great opportunity to raise interest in our Fraternity as well as our Buckhannon Community. The ultimate and highest Degree bestowed on a member of the Moose is the Pilgrim Degree of Merit. This Degree is conferred only in the House of God at Mooseheart, and comes as a reward to members of the Fellowship Degree for exceptional and outstanding service to the Order.

This Lodge is open to Members in good standing and their qualified guests only. This is because the Loyal Order of Moose is a private organization.

We the Moose Lodge welcomes all applicants for membership,

But we do not solicit new members by advertising to the general public. Instead, membership is gained through the sponsorship of a current Member. Any Member in good standing can sponsor a friend or relative who would like to join the Moose.

The Loyal Order of Moose Privacy Policy

The Loyal Order of Moose is a private organization. The general public is not invited to participate in any of the activities listed on these pages unless invited by a current member in good standing who has his or her membership card.

Only members in good standing of a Lodge or Chapter and their "qualified" guests are entitled to admittance. All guests must be signed in, cannot make purchases, and must leave when the member leaves. All guests shall be identified in some manner so as to distinguish themselves as such. If a guest is a prospective member, their third visit must be for the purpose of attending an orientation session or an enrollment ceremony.
